In Te Maunga we have been learning about cricket. I learnt about batting. You have to have one foot facing the bowler and the other foot facing forwards. We played non-stop cricket. The batting team has to get into a line. The first three people have a bat each. After the batter hits the ball they have to run to a line and touch the bat over the line. The fielding team has to bowl the ball and if they can catch it they should. I enjoyed batting.
